Aternix is a game development and distribution company launched on the 8th of January 2013. I am the owner of Aternix and I have previously completed several games since I began making them in mid-2008. I have put them on Aternix and they are all free to play. All the games are .exe files and can be downloaded at any time. Please make sure that you become a member of Aternix if you want to discuss about anything on the forums. Come back to Aternix regularly because it is always updating.
War In Space Arcade has been going very well over the past few weeks. I have added many features such as a tech tree, 10 stage bonus, and even options for the game. The ship has lots new features of which can be bought through the tech tree and there is information that tells you how strong your ship is. Furthermore, I have added things such as shields and the only big thing left is to develop the allied ships. After that it will be all straight forward with development. I will soon be opening the game for game testers for free in its early stages. Please contact me if you want to be a tester at "twistytwistytwisty" on Skype. Please keep updated as it may be released soon. Please make sure you keep updated on the WIS Arcade page as well for further information.
Hello again. I am making an area on Aternix to show all the developers for the company and what their current projects are. Please feel free to join as a member of Aternix, whether you be an artist or a level designer. Please message me if you are interested and you don't have to work on projects. Find me on Skype at "twistytwistytwisty".
I am changing what games I am going to be working on from today as the project that I am currently doing will take too long to complete with me making an increasing amount of YouTube videos. I am going to work on a project that I was previously working on last year. It is an arcade version of the WIS series and I feel that this will be the last WIS game I develop. I will add a game page on this as soon as I can. Further details with the page will be announced. Click here for page.
I am introducing a new series of alternate history videos but this time I have an actually homemade battle board. It had been developed over many years and I have only recently had enough military pieces to present a simulation properly. There is already well over 300 pieces and I am continuing to make more. The new series is going to be made only by myself only as the only person with the battle board is me. I hope you enjoy it when the first video comes out. You can also ask me a question for it on my YouTube account.
A rating system will be introduced for all games on Aternix for me to get a good idea of how the public are enjoying my games. I have already installed some but I hope they will all be put up soon. Please make sure you rate the game after you have played it because I don't want people to blindly decide.
Defile has now officially announced as a cancelled project due to a lack of support and a poor look on how the game play will turn out. Instead of developing Defile, I am looking at completely turning my focus towards re-designing The First as mentioned in the previous notice.
The First was released as a cancelled project in mid-2012 but I am looking at re-designing it to become a fully completed game due to its amount of likes by players. The earlier version will still be able to be played but I will continue on from where I was up to. No idea if I will be making a demo but I hope I can get enough time into this game to make one quick enough to show you my new abilities to design a good game.
I will no longer be making games with game maker as I now need to use a stronger engine to make my games. The code for Java is obviously going to be much more challenging and complex than that of GML but I am ready to learn the new coding language and to never go back to game maker. Why did I choose to start using Java? I believe and also others that my use of game maker has reached its peak and has gotten to the point at which trying to avoid Game Makers limitations should not be made. I also decided to use Java because it can be imbedded into many, many platforms and the public can better access the games produced.
Aternix already has a YouTube channel but it lacks videos. I am currently looking into making some really good quality videos using green screen and other things to make some really impressive videos.
